How long have you been on DeviantArt?    A little over two years. I made an account when started doing art more seriously. I had always doodled and stuff though out middle and high school, but upon graduating, I just stopped. Flash forward a few years, I realized how much I missed it in my life, so I started drawing and painting again. Now I'm 24 going on 25 and I'm trying to make a career out of this. Lately I've been feeling so far behind. We've been behind on bills, we are the only ones of our married friends without kids, we haven't gotten to the bigger apartment we wanted and more than anything, I feel deeply inadequate as an artist. All the artists I admire and hope to be like, are around my age. Many are even younger than me, but yet they are leaps and bounds further than I am in terms of skill. Most people who are professional artists, started drawing at a young age and never stopped. Many even have schooling for it.
